What Is the “PHÚC LONG KIOSK” Model?
PHÚC LONG currently has 2 official formats: FLAGSHIP AND KIOSK. PHÚC LONG KIOSK is a takeaway counter model serving only customers ordering drinks to go. This format is integrated into and located inside WINMART (VINMART**)** supermarkets. Each kiosk has 2-3 staff members per shift, handling drink preparation and cashier duties.
On 24/5/2025, The Sherpa Co., Ltd., a member of Masan Group, announced the acquisition of a 20% stake in Phúc Long Heritage - the company that owns the Phúc Long brand - for USD 15 million (equivalent to VND 340 billion) and signed a strategic partnership with Phúc Long for the kiosk model. This valued the brand at USD 75 million.
By February 2025, Masan spent USD 110 million (equivalent to VND 2,500 billion) to acquire an additional 31% stake and become the parent company of the Phúc Long milk tea chain. Masan Group owned 51% of Phúc Long’s shares following this transaction, giving it a controlling interest and allowing it to consolidate the company’s business results. Based on this recent transaction, Phúc Long’s valuation had reached USD 355 million.
Total tea and coffee consumption in Vietnam is currently estimated at USD 2.3 billion and is expected to grow by more than 10% annually. Branded tea and coffee retail chains account for only 25% of this market, including major brands such as Highlands Coffee (over 300 stores), The Coffee House (over 180 stores), and Starbucks (over 70 stores).

The successful rollout of Phúc Long kiosks inside WinMart stores has given Masan the confidence to pilot mini-malls – an integrated model bringing together WinMart+ (daily essentials), Phúc Long (tea and coffee), pharmaceuticals, Techcombank (banking), and Reddi service points (mobile telecommunications) at a single location.
Masan plans to open 2,000 mini-mall stores this year, with different sizes and formats based on an analysis of each area’s characteristics. Phúc Long is expected to contribute around VND 2,500-3,000 billion in revenue by expanding its standalone store network, adding kiosks within the WinMart+ chain, and diversifying its product portfolio. Outlining a long-term goal in the middle of last year, Trương Công Thắng, CEO of Vincommerce, planned to open 1,000 milk tea kiosks within 12 months of the investment in Phúc Long and contribute USD 500 million in revenue by 2025.
Vinmart+ or WinMart?
Masan renamed the VinMart brand to WinMart, and VinMart+ to WinMart+, effective 01/04/2025. The VinMart supermarket chain, VinMart+ stores under VinCommerce, and VinEco were to be renamed by replacing the initial letter V with W, more than 1 year after their transfer to Masan (2025). The signature red color and brand logo would not change significantly. Since taking over the VinCommerce system, Masan has carried out extensive restructuring of the network and organizational structure.
